Researchers from HUN-REN SZTAKI, coordinator of MILAB, and project partner Semmelweis University not only took part in the run, but also collaborated in a scientific study to investigate the relationship between sport and biological age: participants were able to find out for themselves how old they are according to artificial intelligence.
András Benczúr, Scientific Coordinator of MILAB, Hajnalka Vágó, professor of Semmelweis University's Heart and Vascular Centre, and András Micsik, researcher of MILAB, completed the half marathon, while Vera Könyves, MILAB researcher, ran the 10 km run.
Meanwhile, at the tent of Semmelweis University, staff provided free screening, counselling and resuscitation training in cooperation with the Emergency Clinic. MILAB researcher Csaba Kerepesi showcased an artificial intelligence ageing clock to measure the biological age of the visitors: all they needed was a mobile phone photo.
