Research area in AI: Development of methods for continuous measurement and forecasting of the physical and chemical conditions of lakes. Optimisation of temporal sample scheduling and the spatial distribution of the sensor network, quality control of data series, with AI methods. Short-term (couple of days ahead) forecasting with process and data oriented procedures and with their combination.
