The Digital Success Programme (DJP) participated with its own tent pavilion at this year's EFOTT festival, which took place on the shores of Lake Velence between 10 and 14 August, and was aimed primarily at young people and students. The event was also attended by researchers from SZTAKI with a demonstration.
SZTAKI, as the consortium leader of the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB), had been invited to present a demonstration at EFOTT on the topic of artificial intelligence. Ádám Kisari and Kristóf Máté, researchers of the SZTAKI Systems and Control Lab, presented the application of on-board sensor systems (camera, LIDAR, radar), which play a central role in the control of autonomous (driverless) vehicles. The system uses artificial intelligence to detect the vehicle's environment, the road, lanes, surrounding vehicles, pedestrians and obstacles. This field is also being researched at the Autonomous Systems National Laboratory (ARNL), also coordinated by SZTAKI.
The Digital Success Programme (DJP) aims to ensure that every citizen and business in Hungary is a winner of digitalisation.
