Students from the Gyertyánffy István Elementary School of ELTE visited SZTAKI

Széchenyi Plusz RRF

Members of the 6th A class were introduced to scientific demonstrations at the national laboratories coordinated by SZTAKI, the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory and the Autonomous Systems National Laboratory.

The whole morning visit on 9 December 2022 started in the Lágymányos Street building of SZTAKI, including the Innovation and Demonstration Space, which was inaugurated in the summer. The children had the chance to try out SZTAKI's drawing robot, learn about the institute's VR developments, and learn about ageing clocks using artificial intelligence and the orientation of autonomous vehicles.

The interactive demonstrations were followed by a tour of the "From the Past to the Future" exhibition in the lobby of the Lágymányos building. Sándor Manno, a development engineer, gave the children a guided tour of the exhibition.
