More than 170 people attended the Hungarian Machine Learning Meeting (Magyar Machine Learning Találkozó)

Széchenyi Plusz RRF

This year, for the first time, the Hungarian Machine Learning Meeting was organised by the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB), coordinated by SZTAKI, at the European Youth Centre in Budapest.

The three-day professional conference provided an opportunity for internationally renowned Hungarian researchers working in machine learning at foreign institutions to meet each other, Hungarian researchers, and the younger generation of Hungarian researchers and PhD students. The presentations were followed by a poster session and informal networking.

It was organised by the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB), launched in 2020, whose main mission is to bring together Hungarian researchers and institutions working in AI; organise thematic, professional events (such as the International AI Expo in February 2023), European AI Centres, ELLIS networking.
