The National Association of Doctoral Students (DOSZ), in cooperation with the University of Pécs, organised its multidisciplinary, scientific conference, the “World Meeting of Young Hungarian Researchers and Doctoral Students” between 6-8 May 2022. The conference was attended by researchers from the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB). MILAB staff were also present at the Doszfest Free University, which took place from 2-4 September.

In addition to the general objectives of MILAB, visitors were able to learn about the operation of an artificial intelligence-based recommender system, camera-based premature baby monitoring in the medical and healthcare applications research area, and future vehicle control technologies, such as the research on “energy-efficient data collection using applied artificial intelligence tools in the ZalaZone test track environment” or the state-of-the-art simulation techniques used by researchers to teach autonomous vehicles.
