Researchers from HUN-REN SZTAKI's Engineering and Management Intelligence Research Laboratory (EMI) and the Artificial Intelligence Nation Laboratory (MILAB), coordinated by HUN-REN SZTAKI, also exhibited at the day-long event held in Várkert Bazár on 26 March 2024.
On EMI's side, among the demonstrations on display was a simulation in which visitors can adjust the parameters of a virtual engraver to make it as fast as possible. The AI will then perform its own calculations, presenting the efficiency of the neural network. A virtual model of the HUN-REN SZTAKI drawing robot was also present: a photo of the visitors was transformed into a vector drawing by an AI algorithm.
András Benczúr, Head of MILAB, was present with three demonstrations. One of them analysed Twitter reactions to COVID vaccinations. The other predicted the load on the electricity grid in real time. The third used a photo to determine the biological age of the person of interest.
HUN-REN SZTAKI participated in the ICT Day as part of the AI EDIH project. See our video bellow.
