FIWARE is an open source, standardized software platform that enables the development and operation of smart cities and industrial IoT (Internet of Things) applications. Its goal is to create an open, sustainable ecosystem in which developers can easily work and where applications are interoperable, i.e. compatible with other systems and devices.
