The "2024 Call for Proposals of the Supported Research Groups Program" (TKCS-2024) by HUN-REN concluded successfully, attracting significant interest. Among the six winning proposals is the project submitted by Csaba Kerepesi, senior researcher at the Artificial Intelligence Research Laboratory’s BioAgeAI research group of HUN-REN SZTAKI.
The primary objective of HUN-REN TKCS-2024 is to foster multi- and interdisciplinary research while promoting synergistic collaboration between distant but complementary scientific fields.
Csaba Kerepesi, leader of the BioAgeAI research group at the Artificial Intelligence Research Laboratory of HUN-REN SZTAKI, collaborated with Karolina Pircs from the Neurobiology and Neurodegenerative Diseases Research Group at Semmelweis University to win with their project titled “Evaluation of human aging and rejuvenation by using artificial intelligence and direct neural reprogramming.” This marks the establishment of the Rejuvenation Research Group.
