About our partner

Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE, Budapest) is the largest and most prestigious university in Hungary. ELTE participates in the work of MILAB with two Faculties, the Faculty of Informatics and the Faculty of Science. ELTE has been a member of Hungarian AI Coalition from its inception.

ELTE is involved in the mathematical foundations and applications of AI through the AI Research Group, Institute of Mathematics, Faculty of Science algorithmic and architectural development of deep networks in basic and applied research, including state-of-the-art results on different benchmark problems through the Department of Physics of Complex Systems, Faculty of Science, and Faculty of Informatics and its Department of Artificial Intelligence is involved in the R+D+I of human-machine interaction including Cyber-Physical Systems, remote monitoring, diagnosis, therapy, and rehabilitation in in autism, depression, PTSD, and motion correction. Close collaborations with the Department of Software Technology and Methodology, e.g., in the field of edge computing and also in natural language processing are organized for high quality developments. Ethical and legal aspects are tackled in collaboration with the Faculty of Law of ELTE.
