On Wednesday, April 30, 2025, the National Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence held a meetup at HUN-REN SZTAKI. The professional event focused on two- and four-legged robots and the latest developments in robotics.

The first speaker was Ádám Miklósi (ELTE), who researches behavioral parallels between family dogs and quadruped robots. He was followed by János Körömi (INFUZE Robotics), who presented the capabilities and development potential of the Unitree G1 humanoid robot. The next talk, led by Benjámin Papp (Óbuda University), explored the setup of a remote development environment for the Go2 robot, while Balázs Bódis (HUN-REN SZTAKI) offered insights into domestic developments and applications of Boston Dynamics’ SPOT robot.

Following the presentations, attendees had the opportunity to network and experience live robot demonstrations, where they could interact up close with the showcased systems.
