Dr. Myung-Joon KIM, President of the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) of South Korea, and his three high-ranking colleagues within ETRI visited Hungary on a scientific and research networking tour. The program of the tour was organised by the Ministry of Culture and Innovation.

MILAB also participated on DOSZ conference

The National Association of Doctoral Students (DOSZ), in cooperation with the University of Pécs, organised its multidisciplinary, scientific conference, the "World Meeting of Young Hungarian Researchers and Doctoral Students" between 6-8 May 2022. The conference was attended by researchers from the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB). MILAB staff were also present at the Doszfest Free University, which took place from 2-4 September.

Fatma Hamdi, research student at SZTAKI, was awarded 2nd prize at the MNB-BME Research Competition and University Scholarship Application

Hamdi was awarded 2nd prize with her English manuscript titled „Novel Outlier Detection Algorithm Based on Incomplete Data Handling” in the „Anomaly detection using machine learning” category. Hamdi’s work has been done in line with the MILAB project.
