In the framework of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, TechWeek, a major Presidency event was held between 30 September and 1 October 2024 with the participation of the Ministry for National Economy of Hungary, focusing on the advanced and emerging technologies that define our virtual and non-virtual lives.

The flagship event was attended by representatives from EU and non-EU countries at ministerial and state secretary level, as well as CEOs and senior management delegates from the world’s leading technology companies. At the Ministerial Gala Dinner on 30 September, László Monostori, Director of HUN-REN SZTAKI, presented the Institute and the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB), coordinated by HUN-REN SZTAKI, to the guests gathered in the Hall of Honour of the Vigadó.
