The Tempus Public Foundation organised the International Conference of Stipendium Hungaricum Partners in Budapest on 20-22 November 2023. In the conference programme, a special place was given to the presentation of Hungarian higher education institutions and scientific research institutions, such as the Hungarian National Laboratories. Two national laboratories, the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory and the National Laboratory of Autonomous Systems, both lead by HUN-REN SZTAKI, were also introduced at the event.
The Stipendium Hungaricum - run by the Tempus Public Foundation - is the Hungarian government's higher education scholarship programme. The educational policy objective of the Stipendium Hungaricum programme is to promote the internationalisation and quality development of Hungarian higher education, to strengthen the international relations of the Hungarian academic elite, to increase the cultural diversity of higher education institutions and to promote competitive Hungarian higher education in the world.
