Hungarian Machine Learning Meeting – MILAB organises national event on machine learning and AI

The informal summer meeting, dated between 8 and 10 August 2023, will bring together internationally renowned Hungarian researchers working abroad, who will present tutorials, while Hungarian young researchers are presenting shorter talks, posters and ideas, with many informal activities.

Topics will include reinforcement learning, learning theory, quantum chemistry, digital twins, robotics and language models. The Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB), coordinated by SZTAKI and launched in 2020, will be responsible for a large part of the organisation and costs. MILAB’s main mission is to bring national researchers together, organise events (e.g. AI & AUT Expo ), and to build relations, like European AI Centres or ELLIS links.
