On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, the Hungarian Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB), coordinated by HUN-REN SZTAKI, held a joint meetup with the Budapest Deep Learning Reading Seminar. The topic was Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
The event had a full house in the Great Council Hall of HUN-REN SZTAKI, with over 80 attendees. Participants listened to three presentations: Gábor Szirtes discussed the significance of knowledge graphs, Zsolt Szántó spoke about the evaluation of RAG systems and large language models (LLMs), particularly from the perspective of the Hungarian language.
István Üveges demonstrated how LLMs can be used to simplify complex legal texts, making them understandable for laypeople.
