Full House at MILAB Meetup Showcasing Cutting-Edge Innovations in Construction Industry

The latest MILAB meetup, hosted by Noémi Friedman, HUN-REN SZTAKI, of the BUILDCHAIN project, was a resounding success, drawing a full house of industry professionals, researchers, and technology enthusiasts. The event featured groundbreaking presentations on AI, BIM, and sustainable construction technologies, reinforcing MILAB’s commitment to innovation in the built environment.

The program included insightful talks from leading experts:

  • Ema Lovsin (OriginTrail, SI) & Juan Chiachio Ruano (University of Granada, ES) – Discussed AI-grade knowledge assets and BIM’s role in ensuring safe, sustainable, and resilient construction.

  • Roland Németh (Paulinyi and Partners) – Presented HeatScape Resolve, a joint development with the European Space Agency (ESA).

  • Bence Szinyéri (BME) – Introduced deep learning-based approaches in Bridge Weigh-in-Motion systems.

  • Márton Kovács (Innovative Software Solutions) – Showcased LLM-based AI assistance for budget pricing.

  • Igor Osmokrovic (Bexelmanager.com SRB) – Highlighted integrated BIM project management with BEXEL Manager technology.

The event fostered dynamic discussions and networking, underlining MILAB’s role in driving technological advancements in the construction sector.
