Researchers from the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory’s (MILAB) research group on ageing research were joined by businessman Ernő Duda at the morning session of the all-day event “Can we live forever?” on 14 November 2024.

During the 30-minute talk, the team discussed their work, the latest findings in ageing research, and how, in addition to prolonging life, researchers are paying particular attention to research into extending healthy life spans. Csaba Kerepesi, head of the research team, said that in practice, it is enough to rejuvenate ourselves by one year every year in order to live much longer than we do now. Eszter Szatmári, a member of the research team, said: “The longer we live in good health, the more time we have to do research to live even longer”.
