Employees from the Indian Manipal University (Manipal Academy of Higher Education), particularly from the Manipal Institute of Technology, Manjunath K N, and Manuel Manuel, a compliance expert from the Scania Group, visited HUN-REN SZTAKI to familiarize themselves with the activities and structure of the Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory (MILAB).
During the meeting, Benczúr András, the professional leader of MILAB, and project coordinator Érdi-Krausz Gábor, introduced the thematic areas coordinated by HUN-REN SZTAKI's MILAB, while our colleague Csaba Kerepesi provided a summary of the aging research programs.
Manipal University aims to launch a research framework similar to the Hungarian national laboratory program with the support of the Indian government, and the guests obtained useful information during the visit for this purpose.
