A 2025-ös, 15. KÉPAF konferenciát Hévízen rendezik. Elsődleges célja, hogy áttekintést adjon a magyar képfeldolgozó közösség elmúlt két évben elért főbb eredményeiről, és közös felületet biztosítson a különböző részterületeken dolgozó kutatók számára számára. Prospective authors are invited to submit a full-length paper of not more than 16 pages (excluding references) in either Hungarian or English. The submission policy allows to resubmit an internationally published material of the last 2 years or any new work. In the latter case, the manuscript will be reviewed by three members of the Program Committee, while in the former case, the paper is subject to a simplified review process (checking formatting requirements and relevance of the publication) before it is included in the program.
The conference proceedings will be published in electronic form. For a technical demonstration one can apply with a software and/or hardware demo and an accompanying extended abstract of max. 4 pages. During the conference we will offer dedicated booths and a time slot for a technical presentation. The Attila Kuba and the Dmitrij Csetverikov Prize will be awarded to young scientists authoring the best papers to be selected among the KÉPAF contributions by the dedicated committee.
The conference will also host the PhD Prize, which is awarded to a selected postgraduate-level researcher with outstanding research achievements. The biennial meeting of the Hungarian Association for Image Processing and Pattern Recognition will be held during the conference where new members of the KÉPAF Governing Board will be elected.
