The 15th KÉPAF conference to be held in the town of Hévíz, Hungary. The primary goal of the conference is to give an overview of the main results of the past 2 years achieved by the Hungarian image processing community and to provide a common interface for scientists working in different subfields.
Prospective authors are invited to submit a full-length paper of not more than 16 pages (excluding references) in either Hungarian or English. The submission policy allows to resubmit an internationally published material of the last 2 years or any new work. In the latter case, the manuscript will be reviewed by three members of the Program Committee, while in the former case, the paper is subject to a simplified review process (checking formatting requirements and relevance of the publication) before it is included in the program.
The conference proceedings will be published in electronic form. For a technical demonstration one can apply with a software and/or hardware demo and an accompanying extended abstract of max. 4 pages. During the conference we will offer dedicated booths and a time slot for a technical presentation. The Attila Kuba and the Dmitrij Csetverikov Prize will be awarded to young scientists authoring the best papers to be selected among the KÉPAF contributions by the dedicated committee.
The conference will also host the PhD Prize, which is awarded to a selected postgraduate-level researcher with outstanding research achievements. The biennial meeting of the Hungarian Association for Image Processing and Pattern Recognition will be held during the conference where new members of the KÉPAF Governing Board will be elected.
